DEAD CELEB! Bobby Vee died early yesterday from complications of early-onset Alzheimer's disease. He was 73 and had been in hospice care at a memory-care facility in Rogers, Minnesota, where he'd lived for the past 13 months. Born Robert Velline in Fargo, North Dakota, Vee came to fame as a teenager when he and his band The Shadows joined the Winter Dance Party tour after the tragic 1959 plane crash that claimed the lives of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper.
