WEEKEND BOX OFFICE! Wonder Woman remained at the top spot at the box office for the second straight week, topping The Mummy, starring Tom Cruise, which failed to impress the public. DEAD CELEB! Marilyn Hall, an Emmy-winning TV writer-producer, philanthropist and wife of Let's Make a Deal host Monty Hall, died on Monday at age 90. She also served as a writer on the TV series Love American Style, and as a producer on the 1982 TV movie A Woman Called Golda. Get the obit.

ANGRY BIRD! A peacock went on a rampage at a California liquor store last Monday. After gaining entry, the berserk bird flew around the store breaking bottles of wine and champagne and causing $500 damage in the ensuing mayhem. COLLINS' LAME EXCUSE! Phil Collins says he decided to come out of retirement because his youngest children kept asking him to. He says retirement was a lame excuse not to perform. ELTON JOHN TERROR TRIBUTE! Elton John has paid tribute to the victims of terror attacks in Manchester and London. During his concert in Derby, England Sunday night, Elton dedicated his hit "I Want Love" to those who were killed. Get the details.

GREGG ALLMAN LAID TO REST! Over the weekend Gregg Allman was laid to rest in Macon, Georgia. Allman's former wife, Cher, was among the mourners at the service, as were fellow Allman Brothers Band members Dickey Betts, Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson and Derek Trucks. Allman died May 27 of liver cancer at age 69 following years of failing health. KC SHAKES HIS BOOTY! KC and the Sunshine Band is bringing some heat to the dance floor just in time for summer with a new single called "Movin' Your Body." A lyric video of the song was premiered recently on Billboard.com and also can be viewed on the band's official YouTube Channel.

PATRIOTIC SQUIRRELS! An Air Force veteran in San Antonio recently discovered that all the American flags in his front yard had been stolen. But it turns out it wasn't vandalism. Apparently his next door neighbor witnessed a pair of squirrels ripping the flags from their sticks and running off with them. ATM ON FIRE! On Tuesday police Washington, responded to a drive-up ATM on fire. Apparently the would-be thieves used a blowtorch to try and break in to the ATM's cash and would up setting the money on fire. Police easily rounded up the suspects thanks to surveillance cameras. CELEBRITY RE-COUPLED? Are Sean Penn and Robin Wright back together? A REAL GO-GATOR! Over the Memorial Day weekend , a Florida family was shocked to find an unwelcome visitor in the their pool; an 8 foot alligator. It's not clear how it got there but it was safely removed and relocated to a safer and more appropriate location. ELVIS RING AUCTIONED! A diamond ring that Elvis wore during his 1973 Aloha from Hawaii TV special sold for $204,800 at a music memorabilia auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City over the weekend. CONCERT GOERS KILLED! At least 22 people are dead and about 59 others injured after reports of a suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. The incident "is currently being treated as a terrorist incident until police know otherwise." IDOL RETURNS! It's official: American Idol is returning to TV. ABC says the show will return for the 2017-2018 season, and that the host and judges panel had yet to be decided. Original host Ryan Seacrest is the new co-host of Live with Kelly, and has relocated to New York City. Get the details.

JOHN LENNON TREASURE! The New York City apartment where John Lennon lived until his death in 1980 may contain buried treasure. During an event at New York's Frick Collection art museum, it was revealed that $30,000 was allegedly hidden under the floors of Lennon's Dakota apartment building. CELEBRITY SUE-AGE! Richard Simmons has filed a lawsuit against the National Enquirer over stories claiming that he's transitioning to a female. Simmons' lawsuit alleges four counts of libel and one count of invasion of privacy and seeks damages and compensation as well as an apology and retraction of the stories. DWTS RECAP! After last week's double elimination, only five stars were left. The dance pros chose the song and dance style in the first round, while in the second round couples performed as a Trio with a second dance pro chosen by the judges. Bonner Bolton gave his all but in the end was voted off, his Argentine tango failing to impress. CHER AWARD! Cher is set to receive the ICON trophy at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday May 21st. Cher will receive the honor for her many accomplishments, including scoring #1 hits on at least one Billboard chart in every decade from the 1960s through the 2010s. Get  more details.

JOE WALSH AT GRACELAND! This weekend, Joe Walsh will head to Memphis to participate in a special fan experience at Elvis' newly renovated Graceland mansion. SPEEDING IN CANADA! A North Dakota man received a  speeding ticket in Canada after traveling nearly twice the limit. The guy said he didn't realize that the speed limits in Canada are posted in kilometers. So when he saw the speed limit sign reading 100 KPH, he went 100 MPH instead! 100 miles per hour is the equivalent of 168 kilometers per hour. The guy was fined the equivalent of $684.86 for his miscalculation. Get the police report.

CELEBRITY SUE-AGE! The Eagle have launched a trademark-infringement lawsuit against a hotel in Todos Santos, Mexico which calls itself Hotel California. The suit alleges that the owners have falsely led people into thinking the hotel is associated with the Eagles and was the inspiration for the song. Get the dirty details.

BEATLES/STAR WARS MASHUP! If you're a fan of The Beatles and Star Wars, now you can enjoy both in a new concept album. Titled Princess Leia's Stolen Death Star Plans, the record celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and the 40th anniversary of the first Star Wars flick, Episode IV: A New Hope. How? By changing the lyrics of the songs from Sgt. WINDSHIELD STOMP OUT! An Alabama woman was arrested after after she used her feet to smash out the windshield and sunroof a a car in a furniture store parking lot. 1000 PACK OF BEER!
A Finnish brewery has just created the 1,000 pack of beer. The refrigerator-sized case of cans is currently being sold in at least one super market in Finland. As for the price? It breaks down to just over $2 a can. Not bad if you can get it home. Get the details.

AUSTIN'S ANNIVERSARY! Today marks the 20th anniversary of the U.S. release of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Although the spy spoof opened to mixed reviews, it gained momentum on DVD, not only launching two sequels but becoming a cultural phenomenon. Get the celebration.

WHO FINAL TOUR? Roger Daltrey says he isn't sure if the Who will hit the road again after the current trek winds down. "We seriously don't know if we'll ever play again after this tour." DWTS RECAP! After last week’s shocking elimination of Heather Morris things were pretty edgy on the show last night. A coffee company based in Finland says they've made what could be the smallest cup of coffee in the world. The tiny brew, small enough to fit in a thimble-sized mug is made with a single coffee bean, ground with an emery board. WEEKEND BOX OFFICE! Once again, dismal competition has allowed The Fate of the Furious to hold on to the top spot for the third week in a row. Meanwhile, How to Be a Latin Lover, came in second place while The Circle, starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, managing a disappointing fourth place finish. Get the rankings.

SHAVED CATS!
At least seven cats in Waynesboro, Virginia have been mysteriously shaved since December without their owners’ permission. Cats owned by two separate residents on the same street have been shaved in the underbelly, groin and leg areas. Thankfully, the cats were otherwise unharmed. Get the skinny.

2015 Paul McCartney played Japan's famed Nippon Budokan where he included a performance of "Another Girl" 'live' for the first time ever. The song, included on The Beatles' 1965 album "Help", had never been played on stage anywhere by the band or any of its members solo.
