1971 Jerry Lee Lewis marries his fourth wife, a 29-year-old divorcee who worked as a secretary for the Memphis sheriff's department. The pair would split just two weeks later, but never divorced. They would remain married, seeing each other only occasionally until she was found floating dead in her backyard swimming pool on June 8th, 1982.
1974 Rick Wakeman left Yes. He rejoined the group in 1976, but left again in 1980.
1991 Bruce Springsteen marries Patti Scialfa, a backup singer in the E Street Band.

PHIL FALLS FLAT! Phil Collins has cancelled his London shows tonight and tomorrow after suffering a nasty fall in his hotel room last night. He was taken to the hospital where he had stitches to close a gash on his head which he got after he slipped and bashed his on a chair. The concerts have been rescheduled for November 26 and 26. But don't worry. As his tour proclaims, he's "Not Dead Yet." Get the prognosis.

ELVIS BOXED! A new Elvis compilation featuring his earliest recordings, including his complete body of work with Sun Records, will be released on July 28. A Boy from Tupelo: The Complete 1953-1955 Recordings will be available as a three-CD box set and will include every known master and outtake he recorded for Sun records. POT PIZZA! A medical marijuana dispensary in Quincy Massachusetts has added pot pizza to its menu.. But it ain't cheap.
