DOUBLE DEAD CELEBS! Agnes Nixon, who created the soap opera One Life to Live and All My Children, passed away Wednesday morning after a battle with Parkinson's disease and a recent stroke. She had just finished writing a memoir, My Life to Live, due in January. Nixon was 93. Get the obit.
AND....Gary Glasberg, an executive producer of NCIS and the creator of the spin-off NCIS: New Orleans, died in his sleep Wednesday. He was 50. Get the obit.

ALEC BALDWIN TO PLAY TRUMP! On Saturday Night Live returns for its 42nd season this weekend, and will feature a skit with Alec Baldwin playing Donald Trump. Click here for a preview. The season premiere will be hosted by Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie, with musical guest The Weeknd.

ROY ORBISON BIOPIC! A new Roy Orbison biopic is currently in the works. The film, The Big O: Roy Orbison, will chronicle his life filled with triumph and tragedy, including the loss of his wife in a motorcycle accident and his two young sons in a house fire Orbison died of a heart attack at age 52 in 1988. MIKE LOVE Q&A! Tomorrow, Mike Love will be at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame taking part in a free Q&A session and book signing event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. AUCTIONED ASHES! The ashes of Truman Capote netted $45,000 at an auction over the weekend. The writer's remains were part of the estate of Joanne Carson, the late wife of former Tonight Show host Johnny Carson. Capote died at Joanne Carson's Bel-Air home in 1984. The ashes had been kept in a carved Japanese wooden box and were expected to sell for a meager $4,000. Get the details.

CELEBRITY WEDDING BELLS! Sorry ladies. Josh Brolin is now a married man. He wed model Kathryn Boyd on Saturday. BOWIE PLAQUE DESTROYED! A recently erected plaque honoring the site where David Bowie lived in Berlin from 1976 to 1978 has been destroyed. It's unclear whether the china plaque was broken by souvenir seekers or vandals. BRANGELINA UPDATE! How the assets will be split between the two remains to be seen, but Forbes has broken down what the duo is worth. CELEBRITY SUE-AGE! INACTIVE AGING ADULTS! According to a recent study, 31 million Americans 50 and over are inactive beyond the basic movements needed for daily life activities. The CDC notes that people are more at risk of chronic disease as they age, and recommends 150 minutes each week of moderate to vigorous physical activity, for at least 10 minutes at a time. DON FELDER INDUCTED! Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder has been chosen for induction into Nashville's Musicians Hall of Fame in its class of 2016.
