1989: Jerry Lee Lewis is awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
2006: Heather Mills announces her intention to divorce Paul McCartney.

BUN E. CARLOS SOLO! Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos' new single from his upcoming solo album, Greetings from Bunezuela! has premiered on Billboard.com. Carlos' cover of the 1967 Paul Revere & the Raiders hit "Him or Me (What's It Gonna Be)," features vocals by the sibling pop group Hanson. Greetings from Bunezuela! will be released on June 24. WEEKEND BOX OFFICE! The Conjuring 2 conjured up the win at the weekend box office. Warcraft, based on the popular video game franchise, opened in second place while Now You See Me 2, rounded out the top three. Last week's top movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, fell to fourth. RICHARD SIMMONS GENDER REASSIGNMENT? Rumors of a Richard Simmons sex change are not true, says his publicist. The National Enquirer had claimed that he is now a woman after going through several sex change operations. But Simmons' spokesperson says that the story is a total fabrication.
