SUPER BOWL RECOVERY! Did you feel like calling in sick for work today? I must admit I didn't watch any of the game. Instead, I watched the BBC America Star Trek marathon. As far as the Super Bowl halftime show went, apparently everyone went Gaga. Get the recap.

DEAD CELEB! Sonny Geraci, singer of the 60s rock band The Outsiders of the song "Time Won't Let Me" fame, died yesterday at age 69. Geraci suffered a brain aneurysm in 2012 and had been in poor health since. Get the obit.

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE! Split topped the weekend box office for the third straight week. Rings, the third chapter in the Ring trilogy, had the worst opening for any of the franchise's films, but still managed a second-place finish. OREO COOKIE BEER! If you love Oreo cookies, and if you love beer, you may have missed your chance to try them both in a brand new Oreo cookie-flavored beer. The special brew is called "Hornswoggler with Oreos." But only one batch was made by the Veil Brewing Company of Richmond, VA. and quickly sold out.
