ELTON TURNS 70! His birthday is tomorrow and Sir Elton John says he's living his best life. This year also marks Elton's 50th anniversary of his collaboration with his lyricist, Bernie Taupin. Elton will celebrate his birthday with a charity gala featuring Lady Gaga and special guests. ARETHA BIRTHDAY! The Queen of Soul turns 73 tomorrow. In 1987 she was the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and as an 18-time Grammy winner, held the record for the most charting songs (73) on the Billboard Hot 100 by a woman until this past week, when she was eclipsed by Nicki Minaj. Aretha recently revealed plans to retire at the end of 2017 and is currently recording a new album.

BILLY JOEL SLOWING DOWN? The Piano Man says it may be time to think about cutting back his schedule a bit. He's not confident that he'll be able to continue selling out shows at Madison Square Garden and after that he might play fewer gigs. Meanwhile, on April 5, Joel will play the first show at the newly-remodeled Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in his native Long Island. Get the details.
