MONTEREY POP 50TH! The initial lineup for the 50th anniversary Monterey International Pop Festival has been confirmed and it includes three artists who performed at the original event. Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, Eric Burdon, and Booker T. Jones all performed at the 1967 original. The 2017 Monterey Pop will take place June 16-18 at the original site at the County Fairgrounds in Monterey, California. Get the lineup.
