1965: Frank Sinatra leaves his handprints in cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
1968: Jane Asher announces that she has broken off her engagement with Paul McCartney.
1970: The Carpenters appear on the Dating Game TV show.
1975: Steven Van Zandt makes his first appearance in concert with Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band.

DEAD CELEB! Garry Marshall, famous for creating classic sitcoms like The Odd Couple, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy has died. He passed away yesterday from complications of pneumonia following a stroke. Marshall earned five Primetime Emmy nominations during his career. He was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1997. Get the obit.

SKYNYRD CANCELS CONCERT! Lynyrd Skynyrd cancelled last night's performance in Lewiston, New York, because Gary Rossington was experiencing chest pains. The band will resume their tour once  Rossington gets his doctor's ok. The band says it will reschedule the show. Get he prognosis.

CELEBRITY ENGAGEMENT! Bad news guys. Pippa Middleton is off the market. Britain's most eligible bachelorette became engaged over the weekend to James Matthews, a 40-year-old financier and will tie the knot next year. Matthews proposed to Middleton, 32, on bended knee after getting permission from her father.
